Product Description
You’ll truly be amazed at the performance of this small but very effective tool in your kitchen. Sharp (and stays sharp) beyond your expectations. Comfortable in your hand, it’ll be a workhorse around the kitchen helping you to efficiently perform a multitude of tasks with very little effort.
A 700 year old family tradition of unsurpassed craftsmanship, Kikuichi is the ONLY Japanese cutlery manufacturer with the true legacy of a Samurai swordsmith. And Stoddard’s is proud to have been chosen as their first authorized dealer in the U.S.
For most of their long storied history, Kikuichi manufactured Samurai swords that bore the Emperor’s Chrysanthemum symbol (or “Kiku-no-mon”) as a mark of their excellence. Today, that same symbol appears on all of their knives. No one else in Japan is allowed the same privilege. The sharpness of their high-quality, handcrafted 2-sided blade is easily maintained. Each blade is made of molybdenum stainless steel that will hold the sharpest cutting edge imaginable. The compressed wood handle has 3 rivets for optimum balance and durability. All Kikuichi knives are packaged in an exquisite gift box with sharpening and care instructions.
When you purchase any Kikuichi knife, you will own a piece of history and unsurpassed craftsmanship like no other.
